Our Story
Unbox began during the chaos of 2022, founded by two friends who saw how many small businesses were being left behind without good design or marketing support. We built Unbox to level the playing field. Since then, we’ve grown into a nimble, expert team that helps brands of all sizes find their voice, define their edge, and own their space.

Founder
Fatemeh Astani is a multidisciplinary creative director and strategist with a background in graphic design, marketing, and UX. She specializes in diagnosing brand challenges and crafting strategic, design-led solutions that help businesses grow with clarity and purpose.
Her work spans various industries, including healthcare, fashion, nonprofits, and early-stage startups, and is recognized for blending thoughtful strategy with impactful creative execution. Fatemeh brings a grounded, collaborative approach to every project, always starting with insight and ending with intentional design.

Design Director
Melaina Distad is a Graphic Designer Based in Minnesota. She has worked on various client projects from developing campaigns to designing a brand's identity from the bottom up. Melaina also focuses her work on photography, creating surface patterns for spaces, and building websites. A fun fact about Melaina is she enjoys playing soccer in her free time!
